MOBILIZE, EQUIP, EMPOWER to make a difference

After more than two years of praying and brain storming and under the leadership of brother Ralph who pastors Enterprise Baptist church, Guyana Baptist Convention recently launched their Theological Training Institute.   Brother Ralph believes that for the church to fulfill its mandate in the world, members must be made into disciples.  As a consequence over five years ago he forged partnerships with his mentor Aubrey Ralph who is an elder at Centreville Baptist church in Virginia, Dennis Baggot, an elder at his church in Canada and Courtney Street, former missionary with the International Mission Board to lead annual theological training at Enterprise Baptist.  Aubrey, Dennis both Guyanese and Courtney a Jamaican agreed to a five year partnership which was extended as a result of the overwhelming success.

Brother Aubrey led in establishing a partnership with World Hope Institute and with expansion in mind, brother Ralph set out to mobilize Convention leaders and those who were serving as pastors.  As a result more than one hundred persons representing 80% of Baptist churches in Guyana were present at the launch.  Classes will begin in July.
