Theological education is a critical component of the Great Commission. Jesus called people to follow Hi and He would make them to become “Fishers of Men.” For them to fulfill their purpose they had to be taught and Jesus spent three years teaching them. He instructed His followers to make disciples and teach them to obey everything He commanded.

Those called to take the Good News to the nations need sound theological training. While the contents are constant, relevant methodologies are employed to make the training purposeful.

THEOLOGICAL EDUCATION:

  • Is necessary to sustain the Movement. More than an institution, the Church is a Movement. It is through sound theological education that Bearers of the Good News are able to expand the Movement.

  • Protects against false teachings. Many teachers are clamoring to promote their biases and agendas by creating a different gospel. Only through sound, theological education will disciples be able to gain the knowledge necessary to wisely discern truth from error.
